Puducherry Vision 2025 – a Joint initiative by CII and Sriram Charitable Trust

Recognising that growth requires a vision, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Sriram Charitable Trust joined hands to chart a vision in the process of ‘people’s democracy’. This document “Puducherry Vision 2025” released by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Puducherry, Mr. V. Vaithilingam during the Puducherry Vision Summit on Saturday 28th February 2009 is all set to play an inspirational role in facilitating Puducherry’s transformation.

This Vision document is a culmination of over 6 months of continuous and collaborative effort. The vision reflects the views and aspirations of the people of the Union Territory of Puducherry, and is the result of broad-based consultations with all stakeholders across all the regions of the Union Territory – Pondicherry, Karaikal, Yanam and Mahe.

The team had collected ideas from almost 350 people across the state by way of one to one meetings and focus group discussions/ workshops.
