Puducherry Vision Summit

The Puducherry Vision 2025 document was released at the Puducherry Vision Summit on Saturday 28th February 2009 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Puducherry, Mr. V. Vaithilingam.

After the release of the Vision document, its ideas were discussed in a series of sessions and panel discussions on themes like Education and Skills, Infrastructure and Planning, Tourism, Manufacturing and Services, Agriculture and Rural development and Quality of Life (Environment, Health etc).

Key speakers at the summit included Member of Parliament Mr. M. Ramadoss, Hon’ble minister of Govt. of Puducherry – Mr. E. Valsaraj, Members of Puducherry Legislative Assembly – Mr. R. Vishwanathan and Mr. R. K. R. Anantharaman, former chief Minister of Puducherry Mr. N. Rangasamy, Hon’ble Speaker of Puducherry Mr. R. Radhakrishnan and department directors and secretaries to the government. NGOs like Dhan Foundation and PondyCAN also addressed the gathering.
